A fine and unique pair of 1920’s Art Deco era bookends, attributed to Oscar Bruno Bach in the "Green Man" motif was part of the Gothic and Renaissance Revival styles Bach worked in. Measuring approx 8 1/2" h x 7" w x 3" d. Oscar Bruno Bach (1884–1957) was a prominent German-American artisan and metallurgist recognized as one of the most technically skilled decorative metalworkers of the early 20th century. His work spanned from small domestic objects like lamps and ashtrays to massive architectural commissions for some of America’s most iconic landmarks.
