Great pair of quality Victorian era carved walnut strung up rabbit would look great in man cave or lodge which can have many meanings including the loss of innocence, evil/witchcraft, bad luck, the harsh reality of nature (predator/prey), a warning of danger, or, paradoxically, transformation and rebirth, the cycle of life and death, mortality, and sometimes the themes of hunting, sacrifice, or a, "breaking" of energy. Second strung-up dead pheasant/game bird carry multiple, often contradictory, symbolic meanings ranging from traditional, practical, and artistic to spiritual and ominous interpretations to lavish, abundant lifestyle, luxury, and the wealth of the landowner.
