Description
Five large books from the late 19th & early 20th centuries. Contained in this collection is a copy of Milton’s Paradise Lost illustrated by Gustave Doré published by Cassell & Company. Also included is a copy of Beautiful Britain, a collection of photos specifically approved by Queen Victoria. The War of the Nations Portfolio and The American Soldier in the Civil War are to photo/illustrated books of war and soldiers. The condition of the books range from poor covers to fair condition. The contents of the books are still clear and do not appear to be missing any pages. The largest of the books measures approximately 17 inches tall with a 12 inch depth. Combined total at the spines is about 7 inches See Photos.
