Description
3 Spanish colonial brass conquistador stirrups. These stirrups are frequently described as "shoe-form" or "conquistador" style, with "FF 50" stamped on them, dating back to the 19th century or later. Some carving details, signs of use age with one showing more ware than the others with some holes in the tip. Measure approx 5" x 11" x 5" Also include in the lot is one Japanese Abumi stirrup. Used by samurai in horse warfare. This one appears to be from the Edo period or earlier. Age-appropriate condition, see photos. 10" x 11" x 6"
