Description
Portrait bust of Buddha Priest, using dead butterflies. Zaritsky incorporates the recycled butterfly wings into his paintings, which depict a variety of scenes. in lacquered Frame .very unique and interesting media. Zaritsky having done several famous people and heads of state as well as other unique pictures from assembled colored butterfly wings .Presented in Russian lacquer type frame with a gesso gilt decoration. Condition overall very good, minor pieces of winds loose and in frame under glass. Frame 18” x 14” Image 10 1/2” x 7 1/2”.
