Description
Second half 19th century Grand Tour cast bronze urn, French or Italian, neoclassical style with Hippocampus form handles, detailed carved acanthus leaf rim, sitting upon a spreading gadrooned base and round plinth. Although unmarked, the urn resembles the work of the Barbedienne foundry in France at the time. H. 9.5" W. 11". Overall excellent condition.
