Jane DeDecker (American, b. 1961) "Over There" Bronze Sculpture 48" L
Description
A monumental, finely cast and dynamically composed polychrome patinated bronze sculpture by celebrated American artist Jane DeDecker. Titled "Over There" this charming work captures the innocence, joy, and collaborative spirit of childhood play. The piece depicts four young children with a classic pull wagon with one boy excitedly leading and pulling. DeDecker’s signature expressive texturing and multi-colored patina, including subtle blue highlights on the children’s clothing that contrast elegantly with the rich, warm brown tones of the bronze. The entire composition is mounted on its original polished hardwood base. Measuring approx. 48" long by 23.5" tall by 15" wide. In good condition with no damage or repairs, see photos.
