Early 19th Century Primitive American White Pine Tavern Table
Description
Great early American country style tavern or hutch table. The rectangular top is constructed from wide thick white pine boards, secured with exposed historical square-head iron cut nails. The surface exhibits exceptional, deep honey amber historic patina with a rich accumulation of wear, character distressing, original knotting and utilitarian tool markings consistent with its age and long term use. Sturdy turned maple or mixed hardwood frame featuring classic ring-and-ball turned legs, entirely stabilized by robust, low-set box stretcher base. Measuring approx. 24.25" tall by 30.5" long by 19.5" wide. In good age appropriate condition, see photos.
