Description
Late 19th early 20th century Belle Epoque era textile lithograph panel on heavy-weave fabric canvas, depicting the profile portrait of a young woman in the romantic Victorian Academic style. The subject is rendered with delicate features, adorned in a dark green and white draped head covering, gazing softly downward while cradling a cluster of pink roses. Housed in a period frame featuring gesso-and-gilt molded track, bounded by geometric filigree stenciling. Measuring approx. 26.75" tall by 22.5" wide. In good age appropriate condition with signs of wear, scuffs and losses to frame, see photos.
