Description
19th century oil painting on canvas of seated young girl. Signed in right mid side in red appears Knupfer. Possibly, Benes Knupfer and set in gold gilt gesso and wood frame with ANTON KAISER plate on lower center front. Most likely just reuse of the frame, see photos. Oval opening yet painting canvas is 20.5" x 16.5" in size as shown. Good overall condition, some craquelure and light soil, see photos.
