Description
The Midnight Challenge oil painting on canvas by Clarence Roe depicts a large stag on mountainous ocean shoreline at midnight. Signed in lower right as shown and set in period 19th century gesso wood gilt frame (some losses as shown). Measuring approx 37" wide x 28" tall including the frame and 31" wide x 20" tall canvas sight size. Some restoration as shown, see photos.
