Description

Alton Kelley created the FD-D7 image using an image reminiscent of the famous “Face on the Barroom Floor” painting that Herndon David painted at the Teller House in Central City, Colorado. It is a beautiful piece and one of the more popular pieces from the Family Dog Denver location. Canned Heat and Allmen Joy Venue at 1601 West Evans October 20-21, 1967. New Old Stock condition, very good. The original poster was printed on uncoated index stock and measures approximately 14″ x 20″. This original has brownish-green lettering that matches the postcard. The second print poster was printed on a slick, glossy stock and measures approximately 14″ x 20″. This reprint has lettering that is bright gold colored.
