The Doors Country Joe & The Fish Avalon Ballroom 1967 Poster -2nd printing B omits the ticket outlet information altogether, and has an obvious printing flaw which runs horizontally across most of the letters in the word "Sparrow". It measures 14" x 19 15/16" and was also printed after the concert. Good condition and display, see photos. FD-50 & FD-61 The Doors 1967 Family Dog Concert Posters (2). A pair of original second-printing San Francisco concert posters for The Doors playing at the Avalon Ballroom from the personal archives of Bob Cohen, the man who co-owned the Family Dog and ran it with Chet Helms from early 1966 until the firm’s demise in late 1968. FD-50, known as "Break on Through" after the Doors’ first single which got a lot of airplay in California but didn’t chart nationally, features the band playing with Country Joe & the Fish and Sparrow at the Avalon on Friday and Saturday, March 3-4, 1967. FD-61, referred to as "Butterfly Lady, " had just the Doors and The Sparrow this time (no third act) two months later at the Avalon on Friday and Saturday, May 12-13, 1967.
