Description
The large ovular bowl form in smooth white porcelain with polychrome decoration of birds and insects, has raised basket weave surface details and gilding, the lid domed featuring a bisected lime form handle, sides flanked with organically shaped green handles and applied rose forms; Herend, Hungary (with associated manufacturer’s marks to bottom) 20th C. Measuring approx. 14" W x 9.5" H. Condition; very good with no chips or cracks.
