Signed in lower left in red what appears to be J. Brown, English ca.1850-60 Oil painting on canvas set in ornate gesso and wood gilt frame. Measuring approx 15" tall x 13" wide overall including the frame and 9.5" tall x 7.5" image canvas sight size. Some craquelure and wear as shown, see photos for details.
