Lot 340:
Oak Machinist's Chest
Description
An oak machinist’s chest likely early to mid 20th century. This chest is in fair condition and remains sturdy. The locking clasps all open and close easily, and the hinges and drawers move freely. The top of the chest shows some wear, likely from items being placed on top while working. The handle appears to have been taped over to repair some wear but the rings still hold firm. The chest has 7 drawers on the inside and the large drawer on top. The felt inside the drawers is in fair condition, showing its age with wear but still covering the surfaces. The top/rear hinges have been replaced which can be seen in the photos and the front lock is missing. Overall dimensions are 20 x 12.5 x 8 inches. See Photos.
