Lot 345:
Indians Hunting the Bison - Karl Bodmer - 1990 Print
Description
A commemorative print from a 1990 exhibition by the Indiana Historical Society & the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indian and Western Art. This print depicts Bodmer’s popular piece "Indians Hunting the Bison" inspired by a active bison hunt he was a part of in 1833. The print measures 24 x 18 and is in good condition. Some spots of dirt and appears to be canvas backed in the frame. The print quality is good and shows great detail in the art. A good piece for a budding collector, or to hold a place. See Photos.
