Description
circa 1898 Tiffany Studios Acorn and Vine border leaded glass shade seated patinated bronze saucer base with etched band decoration footed on cylindrical ogee base and stamped on bottom numbered 25921. Found in Tiffany Lamps and Metalware: New Edition, Duncan, pg. 54 illustrates base. Measuring approx 19" tall x 16" diameter. Very good working condition with a rich reddish brown and verdigris finish throughout. If you want a RARE chance to own a near PAIR, the matching base can be found in lot 226 fitted with turtleback shade later in this auction! One mans collection!
