Description
A stately pair of male and female cast sculpted seated Chinese Foo Dogs. Chinese coins subtly embellish the bodies of already fine details found throughout the casts. Foo dogs, also called Guardian lions or Fu Dogs, are mythical Chinese statues symbolizing protection, strength, and good fortune, traditionally placed in pairs at entrances to ward off evil spirits and negative energy, with the male (yang ball) representing protection of the structure and the female (Yin cub) representing nurture, embodying balance (Yin/Yang) for homes and businesses, Great for interiors as well!
