Description
Rawlings signed on the sweet spot by the iconic Cleveland pitcher. An important figure in Cleveland sports history, Mel threw out the first pitch (and ceremonial last pitch) at Cleveland Municipal Stadium. He also was one of the best pitchers in the the dame for the entire decade of the 1930’s, but was Robin to Bob Feller’s Bat Man. He was a five time all-star and won over 200 games in his career, which was entirely in Cleveland. Best for second all-time for the Tribe! JSA certified.
