Amazing opportunity to obtain a cherished part of a long time local collector’s collection. This set was put together over several decades and was constantly updated over time. The cards are correlated by teams rather than checklists, a common practice back in the day and many still practice this today. Near set that is (12) cards short of being complete. Phil Niekro, Jim Kaat, Bennie Daniels and commons are the omitted. Overall a very high quality set. 10% of the set is VG-EX. Overall grade is EXMT. Range is VG-MINT. Some gems and stunners. An easy year to like Topps and all of their different cards and subsets. This is an attractive issue that has been sought after by collectors and will continue to be. When prominent a collector that frequented auction houses, card shows and shops since the last time the Browns won you have to take notice. Some of these cards were obtained at the Sindelar shows and the poolside auctions at Strongsville.
