Mahogany footstool with upholstered seat in a cream ground embroidered with flowering branch motif, raised on cabriole legs ending in claw and ball feet and joined by a serpentine stretcher. The frame retains a warm patina and the upholstery is in good condition with only light wear. Attractive and functional accent piece in the Chippendale revival taste, early 20th century.
