Description
Pair of well constructed framed late 19th century hand embellished whimsical, romantic revival lithographs. First depicting a young woman in a classic cream colored empire waist dress gathering wildflowers in an open summer meadow. Executed in the soft, academic romantic revival style characteristic of Albert Lynch (1851-1912). The second depicts a shy Italian street musician or gypsy dancer holding a tambourine against a beige background with over hanging vine. Both housed in matching sturdy, heavy double matted frames. Measuring approx. 28.25" tall by 19.5" wide. In good age appropriate condition with some minor scuffs and dings to frames, see photos.Ê
