Description
Pair of hand colored botanical sunflower engravings by Johann Wilhelm Weinmann (German, 1683-1741), from Phytanthoza Iconographia, Regsburg (1737-1745). Depicting full-headed blooming and matured green seed sunflowers, plate numbers 371 and 372. Housed in matching green-washed frames, accented with custom plaid inner mat borders. Measuring approx. 23.75" tall by 19.5" wide. In good age appropriate condition with areas of scratches to frames, see photos.
