Group of Eight (8) Intellectual's Books, Red Covers - Easton Press & F.A. Davis
Description
Contains six books from Easton Press in red leather covers decorated with gilt. In these six there is a copy of The Iliad by Homer and The Brothers Karamazov by Dostoevsky. These books are in good condition with some very minor blemishes that fall within expected age and use. Also included are two volumes of Diagnosis and Treatment of Cardiovascular Disease, a mid 20th century fourth edition medical reference. In a red binding with gilt on the spines, these books published by F. A. Davis and edited by William Stroud, these books encompass much of cardiovascular knowledge of the time. A fine addition to a doctor’s office that likes to collect medical history and books, or fine decorative pieces for a library at home. The largest book measures approximately 11 x 9 inches and the smallest is about 10 x 7 inches. Total occupied shelf space for all books would be approximately 14 inches. See Photos.
