Description
A French Louis XV marble top, bombe formed, verni martin style painted scenic door panel, open shelf ends and ormolu mounts found throughout. Lite use and wear, overall very good as shown, see photos. Cabinets are often known as commodes and feature exuberant decoration intended for comfort and leisure, in contrast to the more formal style of the earlier Louis XIV period. Measuring approx 46" h x 52" w x 21"
