Seven books by Easton Press covering the history of the Roman Empire. Beginning with History of Early Rome by Livy. Titus Livius initially began publishing these books around 24 BC and the Easton Press has reprinted the complete work in 1974 as a part of the 100 Greatest Books Ever Written. A set of all six volumes of The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire by Edward Gibbon rounds out the rest of this lot. Leather bound and published by Easton Press these volumes are still in shrink wrap and in excellent condition. This lot is a fantastic piece for collectors of history or decorative purposes. The books measure approximately 10 x 7 x 2. Sum of all books fills approximately 10.5 inches of shelf space. All pieces are in good condition with minimal wear from storage. See Photos.
